So far, I’ve been impressed by this tour group. One of the things the tour guide sent out yesterday was a list of movies about Eastern Europe that we might watch before we go. Well, since I love movies, I was all in. First on my list, Woman in Gold, set in in Vienna, told both in the now and the WW II era. It was really good — heartbreaking in a lot of ways — but well done.

I promised yesterday more information about my upcoming trip.
I’m going with a tour group called Sights and Soul. It’s an all-women tour with a maximum of sixteen women per trip. Tours aren’t generally my thing; I like to set my own agenda and go, see, and do what I want. However, a good friend has been on quite a few of the Sights and Soul tours and she raves about them. So, since I’m always up for a new traveling experience, I thought I’d give it a try. And going to Eastern Europe with a group rather than my own seemed a good place to start.

In ten days, I’m leaving for a two week trip to Eastern Europe. I’ll post more about the trip before I go and as I travel. For now though, here is my itinerary. Budapest – Vienna – Prague. I’m so excited.

Not to mention my occasional swipe at Twitter and Pinterest. Sheesh. I really am spread too thin on the social media stuff.
